I'm setting me free. Not you, me.
As the year went by, I found myself hurting a little more each day. I saw myself asking me why, why is it happening? Why everything is turning out this way? That was not the way I've imagined things would happen to me.
So, with this entire new year, with this new opportunity of trying everything again, dreaming with a completely new life... I'm taking this opportunity. I'm going to stop lying to myself and I'll set me free.
You hurt me, you made a thousand mistakes with me. You turned out to be someone I didn't need in my life, someone I won't miss at all. You did me wrong.
So, I'm leaving you behind. I'm keeping you in my story, but in my past. I'm letting you go because I deserve better, I deserve the best. I'm erasing you from my life because I know I'm right this time, I know I'm doing the exactly right thing and I'm doing what's best for me. I'll keep you far because I'm free. I'll do whatever I want, whenever I want. I'm free and I'm assuming that.
